Once upon a time when i was 17 years old, visiting some other places than my home town is a superb experience. Have new friends and new school things. Seeing places of interest back here in Bali island, my home town, is the most attractively from my village at Desa Penganggahan, Tengkudak, Penebel district, Tabanan regency.
Tabanan regency has vary of unique gems of places of interest such as Lake Beratan with its Ulun Danu Beratan Temple of Bedugul, Botanical gardens with thousand of colorful and wonderful trees, plantations and even Raflesia Arnoldi the rare flower. Go down the hills enjoying exotic views of mountainous, hilly breeze of paddy fields, strong chili pepper plantations, hot spring bathing, and ofcourse an adventure to the dark tropical rain forest of Batukaru Mountain, got its sacred temple of Batukaru that dated back to 16th century AC.
At my village, you may enjoy those ordinary prayers do their colorful offerings, hand-made lace and do harvesting as well as planting new seeds of life - Rice !
Eat at Desa Penganggahan you may try Balinese Lawar, a steer mixed vegetables made of jack fruits, young papaya, fresh chicken blood, Balinese authentic spices all together would burn out your stress from the body on to the peacefulness ever.
Sate Lilit also another top tasty food, in the form of Sate that roll up on the clean and natural young bamboo trunks, made of chicken mixed with all Balinese spices. Joined with Sambal Matah would grow your delights become more crossover to the other side of Paradise.
